Bad experience over charged

Terrrible & confused

I have a warranty with Aamco (2yr) so I went in for a diagnostic test and they charged me $375. I called another Aamco in the area and it was a free service. How can I get a refund? This took place at the Aamco on aanapolis rd, Lanham md store

Good luck with that. I had a 3 yr warranty on replacement which had problems since day one.

Long story short, i had to file lawsuit to get my money back as they had one excuse after next for not honoring the warranty. Their corporate office is totally useless and no help at all

CHRISTMAS NIGHTMARE

I dropped my car off as instructed at 7:45 am... by 2:00pm I heard NOTHING from AAMCO so I started calling them every 15 minutes and left messages...

by 4:30 I came to pick up my car and the gates were closed and locked up along with my car... this is Christmas Eve and now I have no way of transportation to see my family.., I got no calls from AAMCO for permission to take my car hostage without my permission They took away my ability to see my family on Christmas.

No one told me they were closing early or that they would be keeping my car. My car was drivable and could have still taken me to my destination just like I drove it there if I had received a

Contact Corporate and send complaint to ccowan@***.com I had much worse issues with Aamco and have been calling customer service and emailing Corporate for the past 6 months. I'm finally getting some help but not trusting them at all!

They need to know that MOST of their transmission shops are ripping people off.

Ripped off and quotes not honored.

So I picked up the car today. What was to be $250 from their verbal quote was just over $400 and this is after last weeks $975,. They told us they only got $663, but my wife showed them by email what they received and I guess they decided to get more another way. So today it was more "supposedly" bad parts, except they were already new, a week before they started work. The issue that the shift linkage was $125 on Wednesday and today it was $200 from the dealer and another $200 for labor. This company cannot be trusted for anything. I am writing corporate asking for a $200 refund and also writing Synchrony Bank and letting them know what kind of people they are doing business with. And all of this after I was given a $100 off coupon you must tape to the door glass before you drop it off. As if they don't think that we know that they are going to up their price $100 to cover their fake coupon. At every turn it is once deception after another.

Brought my 2011 ram to aamco in lake Charles La. 08/20/18. Was told before I went that they would have it ready by the following Friday. I understand things happen, I had to call every day and check. It wasn't till the 8/29/18 till it was "ready" 4200.00 later, I get the truck and drive to North Carolina. I look under the truck and oil is everywhere. I also noticed my truck acting funny with lights. Then I see this.

Brought back for warintee

5000 miles transmission was slipping .walpole shop was under new ownership. Thay took my truck in right away and were verry nice. I understand not everything is perfect and thay fixed it for me under warintee. Thanks walpole amco. I would like a new warintee to begin again now it has ben fixed correctly. I did not receive any information about that ,my phone number, 508400****

Worse customer service experience ever

AAMCO Corporate Office Customer Service in Pa is the worse, unreliable, unprofessional, non responsive I've ever dealt with. In 2016 AAMCO in Chantilly VA installed a remanufactured transmission in my vehicle which has not work properly since the work was done. I have a 3 yr warranty and have taken it back to the shop numerous times, which has changed ownership 3 times, which they keep saying the scan does not indicate a problem. I've spent additional money having my car looked at by 2 independent transmission shop both whom confirm its a problem with the transmission problem. They finally admit there is a problem and the new owners agreed to absorb labor cost but need corporate to pay for the new transmission. I've spoken with 2 customer svc rep at AAMCO corporate office who said they will get back with me but never ever return phone calls or emails from myself or the shop. I am at the point of filing lawsuit because the shifting, rough gear shifting and whining noises has gotten progressively worse and they don't care. I recommend everyone to stay away from AAMCO because even with a valid warranty getting them to honor it is he worse experience ever Dead :

Stay Away!!

Stay clear of this place, especially Women. The Manager, Vincent, is a real jerk. Took my car in for check engine light and they totally ripped me off. They took pictures while they were supposedly repairing my car, but it was not my car. Drove my car less than 5 miles after picking it up from again supposedly being repaired, and the check engine light came back on. I took it back and the manager refused to fix it or give me my money back. LADIES Beware!!!! Go somewhere else. This place deserves a zero rating.
