Replaced parts that were not faulty and the problem is still there. Aamco is a rip off. I took my truck there to have them fix a noise in the transmission. They charged me $836.00, I paid them and the exact same noise was there. The manager told me they would have to...

Aamco Boise Idaho

Called Aamco in Boise Idaho, explained what was going on with my car. They assured me they knew what the problem was and it would cost $920 to fix. I agreed and brought my car in.three days later my car is still not fixed and the bill has escalated to $2800. DO NOT USE BOISE AAMCO ON STATE STREET, they are now telling me that the $920 is labor and the rest its parts. If I had known this from our initial conversation I would have never brought my car there!! even not wanting them to finish repairs they are still charging me the same.

Aamco

94 F150 Check Engine Light was on. Aamco said it was an O2 sensor. Wanted $200. They also left my radiator cap off. I installed a Bosch O2 sensor myself. Light is still on. They wanted 1/2 hr to diag it again. So even if they would have put a new O2 sensor in, it would not have fixed it. They probably would have said that it was something else and would have wanted more money. I wasted time and I still don't have a solution to my problem. I won't be going back to Aamco ever.

AAMCO---"booked up thru next year"

I recently called the Annapolis location on 906 West St., Annapolis, MD. 21401. I think I spoke with RODNEY. I asked for an appointment to get an oil change and a tire rotation. I was told HE was just swamped that day with oil changes so HE had no openings through the end of this week, so I asked about getting an appointment for next week ---sorry booked all of next week; what about next month---booked through the end of the MONTH , actually, booked through the end of the YEAR. I have a REALLY tough time believing that ANY shop with ANY company doing auto work is EVER booked up completely four and a half months ahead of time--especially for an oil change!!!!!!! You can be sure that I will NEVER be having your company (even if another is close by) to do my oil changes and any other work that I will need in the future. I would not go back to AAMCO even if there was something you could do because I'd be worried about some "unrequested" work being done on my vehicle (that would later cause my vehicle major problems) because I reported this. I KNOW I WON'T GO TO AAMCO---even though your slogan says otherwise!!!!!!

Getting screwed at Flowood ms aamco

Took monte Carlo in for power steering problem. They test drove the car after repairing it for 1100.00 and when driven out the lot, the transmission was slipping. Now I have to pay 2200.00 to fix the transmission and that is just an estimate. Gave me the car to drive with the transmission slipping. I am furious and screwed. I don't know anything about car repairs and the explanation that they serviced the transmission having made an underlying problem now noticeable sounds like *** to me. If they don't fix this car I will tell every patient I encounter to NEVER go there. And they just opened.

Poor Workmanship from Aamco/ Louvin Automative

Owners decides to write back and asked me to bring vehicle back to them to fix and offered 200 for the inconvinence but the repair is not under any warranty. Per of Aacom in PA. it is not their responible to correct any wrong doing because it is an indivial shop and refuse to resolve the issue. Nothing resolved. Looking for attorney to help me resolve this issue and get may car fixed because I am not letting Aamco/ Louvin fix anything on my vehicle or anybody else in my family. I planned to email the news station to let the whole world know how Aamco does business.

Aamco Transmissions

I had to get my check engine light fixed for motor vehichle inspection purposes. Paid over $1400.00 and the problem was not fixed. They fixed it long enough to go through inspection. They are now trying to charge an additions $1100.00 to fix the problem. We specifically took it to have th issued fixed and they wrote an itemized billed of $1400.00. None of the problems promised to be fixed were fixed. The check engine light is back on today. I would never ever recommend AAMCO to anyone nor will I ever have them touch my car again.
