Problems with your franchisees

Took my truck into AAMCO on 9/15/23. Got it backed a month later on 10/18/23 and the truck is a diesel.

When I got it back the batteries only 1 was hooked up and loose. The other was completely disconnected. The owner said he would not fix it. So that cost me $ 485.00.

The transmission still slips and looks like they didn't even take out the transmission. David Banks the owner, is very rude and has no customer service skills. I don't feel comfortable with franchisee to repair transmission as I would never get it back and it will still be broke. This guy is ruining the reputation of AAMCO.

Dont believe, just look up all the reviews about this guy's stores. He doesn't care about customers Can't believe this guy was a regional manager for AAMCO. Has no customer service skills and can't be trusted. I have done a charge back on the work since it's not done and have the same problem with the truck.

You would be best to terminate his franchise status. With all the complaints there could be a class action law suite maybe done down the road. I've been a customer of AAMCO for better than 15 years.

I have never received terrible service like this. If this is the type of service you promote I will never use aamco again and blow up the internet and let people know not to use your service's.

So my daughter had her car towed there, and it was a nightmare after that. Sam verbally told my daughter that it would be $4,000, but he never gave her a written estimate- but gave her a final bill after she came to pick up her car.

Then he presented her with a bill for $5300!!! My family called to complain, and Sam wouldn't admit his failures according to the Florida Statute 559.905 nor work with us.
My daughter obtained the money, and went back but the owner David Spring, told Sam that my daughter had to bring cash, because he didn't trust her, to use her debit card to pay for the repairs. I then called back to speak to the owner, but he wouldn't return my call. When she did bring the money in, Sam wouldn't let her test drive the car, after he told me that she could.

Sam wouldn't give my son in law a receipt, so my daughter had to go in and demand the receipt.
Sam was nowhere to be found, so Bill the mechanic had to go get Sam. AFTER he wanted to verbally spar with my daughter, Sam printed a receipt after threatening to just,"write in" the dollar amount on the receipt.
Sam took my family's proactive research regarding FL Statute 559.905 personal, and decided to harass and retaliate against them.
Sam and David the owner, took my kids through unnecessary drama and trauma, so my warning to you all is simple:
DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!

The AAMCO in Olympia, WA. Went out of business, they replaced my hydraulic clutch 3 times in the past 5 years. My truck is starting to show signs of needing clutch work. They closed there doors, and Customer service said its out of warranty and can't do anything. Tell me how a truck that was bought new and goes for 95k with no clutch issues. The truck has now 128k and has 3 clutches put in. These guys are terrible and Customer service is worse.
