HIGHLY UNSATISFIED WITH SERVICE | Aamco review from Atlanta, Georgia
Aamco has had my vehicle for a month and a week, Promising it would be repaired. I have called a cooperate representative (MIA) who never called back after hearing my issues although she promised to contact me about the update of service. I have called everyday and spoke to Blake who is not of much help. I have lost my job and am in the process of taking legal action. No one has answers about my car and they have been promising me they different day and times that it will be ready stir about two weeks now. I am highly disappointed with this company!

Extremely dissatisfied | Aamco review from Atlanta, Georgia
I was having problems with my 2008 Cadillac CTS(excellent condition) For ten years it ran smoothly and was well maintained and serviced at the Cadilliac dealership. We took it to AAMCO and it was determined the transmission was the problem he quoted 4000.00.I charged it to 3 credit cards, even opened an AAMCO account. The car ran great for 2 weeks, when the car started having the same issues as before. We were told it was the alternator causing problems And it cost $600 to fix.
Aamco Car Repair
I've had a nightmare experience with AAMCO on North Decatur. This review involves my 1995 Nissan 300ZX (this matters later). Feb 2014 I took my car in to have the center bearing replaced. They said they could do it, so I trusted them. It took forever to get my car back...
Truck Repair Review
My truck has been in AAMCO care since the 5th of June and know one can tell me when I will get it back. The original shop it was in , I paid $3500 an it had to be put back in the shop on the next business day. I made it 3 miles down the road before realizeing it was not fixed and the McAllen, tx shop wouldn't answer the phone. It's now in the Corpus Christi shop and no one know when it will be ready or seem to realize the predicament that this has left me in. I'm stuck at a rv park outside of kingsville tx and no way to go. Ps. There aren't any taxis in kingsville tx!!!
I bought a car and was having problems. I went online researching for a estimate. I choose your place of business. The store manager name Joe contacted me to schedule an appointment. I explained to him that I was given a fraudulent emission report to purchase my tag...
On Monday 10/01/2012 we took our 2008 Scion Xb to Aamco for a clutch replacement. Our service person, Mike asked for our birhtdate and last four digits of our social security number. He informed us that this info is needed to authorize the initial breakdown and inspect...
AAMCO Trashed Tranny
I dropped off a working 74' VW Beetle 4-speed transmission (to check synchros-condition on a Karmann Ghia I'm restoring & converting to electric) at AAMCO in Salem,VA June 20 2011 since they said they have egg-spurts that work on manuals and said it would be $200 to check out. They got confused and sent it to AAMCO in Blacksburg, VA saying their "real" egg-spurt was there. A week later I got a call from them saying they couldn't find parts (would be at least $1200) for a Bug tranny so upon their request I overnighted parts from an online supplier in California for $438. On July 8th I picked up the (was working) transmission in a box full of gears & parts! They said they couldn't figure out *how* to put it back together! They obviously didn't have the VW proper alignment tools and were incompitent. I don't know how they stay in business, just unsuspecting folk's that walk in I guess.
I was a prior owner this co is the biggest rip off ever. they give no help to the customers and all the main office cares about is the money. ths ad pools are even a bigger rip off. All lies even the so called experience the shops have is a lie. I would never recommend any of the shops . They all work on comission , so that must tell you something. The sales manager at the desk is the biggest of the liers, and the rest to follow. the main office has been bought out by another co, so now the heat is on to generate more income. There are centers closing all over.
AAMCO in Hattiesburg, MS
Do not take your vehicle to AAMCO in Hatiesburg MS. I dropped my car off on Monday night to be looked at the next day becuase my check engine light was on. They didnt look at it until wednsday and than asked us if we knew what could be wrong with it. They than parked it in the back of about 15 other cars and never called us or told us anything. I finally went and picked it up on thursday night and it was still never looked at again and I was told I need to take it somewhere else.
