I sent my truck to AAMCO for a transmission rebuild. After picking it up and driving it, the transmission went out again. I found that all the fluid had drained out due to a leak. I had to take it back in two more times to get the leak stopped. I arranged for the...

Contact Corporate and send complaint to ccowan@americandriveline.com I had much worse issues with Aamco and have been calling customer service and emailing Corporate for the past 6 months. I'm finally getting some help but not trusting them at all!

They need to know that MOST of their transmission shops are ripping people off.

Hope this helps! Good luck!!

Illegally Operating as an AAMCO

BUYER BEWARE and PLEASE READ......This AAMCO center is operating under violation and is not currently recognized as an AAMCO Franchise. Due to multiple multiple "documented investigations by AAMCO, the owner Ismail Latiff has been charged with intentionally committed fraud against many customers. He is currently fighting a legal "Material Breach of Franchise Agreement". This center is in jeopardy of having its doors chained shut any day now. I was recruited from another state to relocated here as Ismail's general manager. In my 25 years in this industry, I have never witnessed such a MESS, and so many shabby, fraudulent repairs, mulitple law suites by dissatisfied customers, vendors and of course AAMCO Corporate. Ismail, has encouraged and pleaded with current employees and myself to help him write letters of defense and fabricate facts to help him defend his multiple cases of documented fraud. As of today, I resign my position with him, as I have far too much Christian integrity to be involved in such dishonesty and fraud. If you should doubt any of this, feel free to click on the AAMCO website and you will see there is NO AAMCO franchise in Morgantown WV.

AAMCO Pitt PA have my car for more than 30 days

I paid $2,124.00 to rebuilt transmission on my 2002 Ford Windstar. After only a 2 weeks I had same trouble with my car. Took to Ford Suppes and they said transmission is slipping and there are some internal problems with transmission. Took my car back to AAMCO Pitt PA on 11/18/2011 and as of today 12/20/2011 my car is still there. First they said everything was OK but then some parts are bad , then case is not good and finally they said they will replace with brand new one , they are playing with me day after day and week after week. To replace a transmission you would need 8 hours lets say 2 days but they NEED 30 + days. They promised me that TODAY will finish it and I`ll get my car back. I`ll keep you posted

I know these guys that work at the PIttsburgh AAMCO. I know a lot of people that have gotten work done there. They have always been fair and honest.

Gives new meaning to the phrase "slow as Christmas", doesn't it?
