I have a new car now, I rarely drive my old one hence it being 3,000 miles in the past 2 years, well today I went to get it inspected. TRANS Takes a dump right after. I just paid them 2300$ for a new one. Of course warranty runs out. I'll call the Monday but I know exactly the response they are going to give me. If they do, They are getting a ear full of harsh words. I paid full cash & told them that, maybe it got to there heads I don't know. Will add another if things go south from here.

aamco in 4539 risng sun av in phila pa 9140 told me my trans would cost 1495 to repair (not replace) not only did they charge me 3000 but my trans is still broken they left greasy handprint all over my cars interior and exterior and my car is leaking fluid as well as the warranty i paid for is not valid due to the weight of my car rims that they were aware of!!!! they also never kept e posted about progress on my car and whenever they did call me they would hangup as soon as i answered and are terribe at cusmer service do not take your car to theese weasels

Aamco trans service manager,Jimmie,Reading,Pa.,Lancaster Ave.shop lied to me, used trickery and deception, used false numbers on the bill, failed to honor his estimated quote. He is worse than Black Beard the Pirate. He should fly the Jolly Roger over his shop. He told me my transy pan was leaking when it wasn,t,installed a special gasket when I didn,t need one, inflated the price of the bill to pump profit margin,and showed me damaged gasket that I don,t think was from my car. Pottstown PA AAMCO - Took money for no repair
I would never allow them to change the air freshener hanging from the rearview let alone allowing them to try and do any real work. They gambled on a resolution, it failed, they lost, they kept my money and after 9 months still have my car. Therefore, I lost. News flash - fixing the damage does not always fix the problem. Most people expect that the problem be fixed. Consumers generally do not care about the damage only a satisfactory resolution. If I had a flat tire, putting more air in might solve the issue - but only until all the air leaks out. replacing a transmission might fix the problem, but if it doesn't consumers do not care that you replaced the transmission. We want a working car after thousands of dollars and months of time. See you in court fellas.
Customer Service Not a Priority for Aamco
I took my truck to be computer analyzed on a Wednesday to the Reading, PA location. They said they would call when it was done. They didn't. After an entire day and still nothing. So I went there. They said they didn't have the part. If I could leave the car, they would call when it was done the next day. Thursday they said the part went to the wrong location and a gasket was missing so they hadn't gotten to it yet but if I could leave it they would have in done Friday. It would take about an hour. I made an appointment for the next day and brought it back at 11:00. I called at 2:00 and it still wasn't done. At 4:00 the women was downright rude and said it will be done when it is done but for sure by 5:00. Then she called back and said it won't be done until 6:00. I went there at 6:00 and they had just pulled it in. I waited there until 7:00 to get it back. I have never dealt with anyone more unprofessional and rude. I am sure my truck would have still been there on Saturday if I had not waited there. I would not reccomend their service to anyone.
