i filed a complaint with the Federal trade commission and consumer protection, I have to work with a lawyer more money to get it resolved. 3200 plus towing & legal fees.

My SUV is still having the same problems and , It just sat in their ungated parking lot for 8 days. I had to phone them several times during the week to go pick up. warranty that should be in place day of install. Mike/Mgr, trying to say not covered until installment's are paid, But I checked and the warranty is day one it is installed .

Now i have to fight to get my money back. 2020-**** in Vancouver Wa.

I have tried to talk too and call multiple aamco centers as well as corporate. I really would hate to waste a whole bunch of time jumping through hoops with better business bureau and consumer fraud. I still just dont understand how parts built to last for awhile fail this close from a rebuild.

My transmission suddenly failed on me in less than 30,000 miles from a rebuild. This is the manual jeep compass 5 spd transmission. I am proficient in the art of driving a manual transmission and I can rebuild them. I don't understand why I am having parts fail that should have lasted more than 75,000 miles. I am fairly upset with my experience and hope as a business aamco can compensate for their lack of workmanship.

7-14 day job turned into a MONTH plus and still waiting

Was told job would take 7-14 days so far it's been over a MONTH and still waiting...was told a part was being " over night" shipped on Sept 21st part arrived on 8th wrong part!!! Umm... Over night typically means Over night!!!! Then I am called later the 8th my car is done ( they found the part at a local junk yard) I get there my car is up on the lift they forgot a sensor, was told it would take 20 minutes an hr later... No the engine light came back on!!# These are the #'s I was given 1(88*)***-**** and 1(80*)***-**** left messages no return calls!!! I will be calling local news stations to get help!

Rip off customers

My boyfriend bought a used transmission &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; paid AAMCO to put it in. Well aamco didn't replace seals when they installed it & it's leaking. When I called aamco they told me it was against the law to replace the seals before they install it. Well it's leaking & they say that it's not standard procedure to put new seals in when u put a used transmission in. Funny because 3 other transmission said that it IS standard to replace the old seals. So now they want to charge him another $700 to put new seals in when they should have done that to begin with

Poor service, lack of communication

contacted customer service to schedule CPU replacement. waited for 6 hours at AAMCO only to be told the CPU had to be delivered to tech for programming All the time i was given the impression the tech was coming to AAMCO Milpitas to program the CPU. I have now lost an entire days work and will have to take off tomorrow to take public transit to hopefully pick up my. This is my second unpleasant interaction with this location.

Service Received

I wanted to give a review because service was ok at the Lanham location, but they had my car for two weeks to do the Transmission and Front end work. I thought that location should also be more automated/up to date with receiving payments to receive them online or over the phone. I had to travel to the location to make a downpayment for service once my parts arrived. Overall customer service was good but the service provide was slow.

Dissatisfied

The Macon location has some of the rudest and Unknowledgeable individual working there ken to be specific is very unpleasant. I took my car there cause they are supposed to deal with warranties and things of that matter and they are recommended by my warranty company. I called one Thursday afternoon where they told me to drop my car off and leave it for the weekend I was fine with that the weekend had turned into two plus weeks. My car has not been fixed after 3 visits.

I just want my car fixed have paid over 3,000 to get this resolved an it's still a danger for myself or anyone to drive my car on the road this is now causing other problems with my car an I'm not gonna be responsible for fixing that to when the original complaint about the car is the same issues I had when I brought it in the first time. I have called customer service someone should have gotten back to me by now it's been over a week an I have heard nothing. Upon returning my car to me the last time was told my tires were the problem I spent $600 on new tires now we're up to 3,600 on the carand the problem is not fixed

I would like my car fixed it no further expense to me and if my tire tread is unbalanced or uneven I would like a new set of tires or something because I just spent 600 extra dollars on tires that did not fix the problem

Issue with branch on perry highway

The main manager there John is really nice and has helped me a lot, but one of their workers there just completely brushed me off I got told my car would be done Friday and then get told oh the manager is out till Tuesday so you have too wait, got no info on how my car is doing or anything of that nature and I feel Im being pushed off completely

Over charged

I took my 2004 Saturn to Aamco in Santa Clarita Ca. to have my transmision checked I gave them 250.00 out front, they kept it for a few days, some guy called me telling me that they were going to keep the car for a while more, what I did not like, was that he never told me that I was going to be charge another 250.00 Dll. more. Now, my car is worse than ever, and Im pissed. So please," I would like for you to take care of this matter, otherwise Ill take it to the BBB. Ill be glad if I only get my 250.00 Dlls Thank you

Poor customer service

Dropped a car with suspected transmission issue off Monday night and was told they would check it out on Tuesday. No call two days later, told mine was the next in line. Friday still no call, stopped by and told they had just checked it out. They claim they had never promised to check it out earlier. Cant trust this group. Asked for my keys back. Also very dirty and unsightly location, /wu
