They charged for tow even though is was not fixed right the first time. | Aamco review from Houston, Texas
They towed my car then they charged me after no warning that I would be charged. After I took the car to them 5 times. And the car still doesn't run right. If you don't know how to fix VW don't take our money and pertend like you know what your doing. After money spent and time spent back and forth and after paying for a tow that I believe I should not had paid because I was taking it back to them to fix after so many times done wrong. They tell me to take it to the dealership VW....What loosers never again will I spend my money and time at AAMCO.Be Warned..
Wasted time and money! | Aamco review from San Antonio, Texas
went for free transmission check in san antonio, tx. told couldnt find problem with out opening trans. allowed because was told that the cost would be deducted from labor after trans was repaired. well they wanted 2,200 hundred dollars to rebuild my trans. i informed them that i would pass and get repaired somewhere else. 5 days later and $389.00 dollars later and after being lied too that my truck trans was being put back together and installed that took 5 days. DO NOT GO THERE THE EMPLOYEES ARE AS BAD THE THE SUPERVISORS. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS AFTER I INFORMED HIM I WOULD TAKE MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE. i would rather walk then take my truck back there. my truck is worse now after they messed with it.

Aamco in killeen texas
I recently took my Mazda protege into this named AAMCO. After i told them the symptoms, they told me the problem was a switch. The following week i returned to pick up the car, paid them the almost $500 bill and proceeded to leave with my vehicle. When i get down the block i observe that my car is having the same problems. So i return the car immediately and tell them its not fixed and they tell me its a computer and i have to buy a new computer! After i had just paid for a part that did not fix it! after two weeks of not having a car they replaced the computer and the car would not run at all. So i told them to put my old computer back in the car and i would take it somewhere else. In the end my car is no better and i am $500 broker, so never take any car to this shop. They will take your money and shaft you without a thanks. The nice black man "Rob" promised to get my car back on the road in a "JIFFY". THANKS FOR NOTHING AAMCO
AAMCO does not stand behind warranty!
AAMCO in the Mission Bend subdivision of Houston, Texas, does not stand by its warranty! It prefers instead to milk customers then give them shoddy work! It is a wonder to me that I overcame my skepticism of the company's reputation and threw caution to the wind. And I regret that I did! After I paid $2K to have a rebuilt transmission installed in my vehicle (and part of that being extra for a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty) the vehicle has been in the shop to repair the repair 3 times - the latest being a sensor which malfunctioned. However, AAMCO will not honor its warranty, stating that the sensor is not part of the transmission! These people are unbelievable! If you want to throw good money after bad, go to AAMCO. Just remember to bring the grease,'cause it'll be a painful screwin' otherwise!
Got screwd by Aamco out of $1900
I took my Jeep to the New Braunsfel Aamco to get my Jeep fixed,it was turning off just driving along,as it was the closest shop when my car stalled. $1900 later the manager said my car was fixed. A few days later it stalled again and took it back. They said they fixed it, again it stalled, took it back 4 times ,same thing. It stalled on me in Cedar Park, Texas and took it to the Aamco there and was told it was the computer all along, costing another $700.I called the customer relations office and was told (too bad you're scrwed)if you will.
Buying a aamco after 20 yr. of service
i worked for aamco for years . i will be buying a store now. not all aamco,s are bad. just like all guns aren,t bad. its some owners/and lack of knowledge tech,s. aamco has the training and knowledge, but the people working for them need to want to keep up with todays cars , they are depending on the knowledge they learned years ago .the employer must insist they stay up date .aamco, surplies this information, ican fix car that why im able to buy a store... im great at what i do ..are you?????? how well are u at your job
AAMCO San Marcos scammed me the same way AAMCO trains their franchises to scam people all over the country. I have read this complaint all over the internet since it happened to me. Took my car in to have a diagnostic run. They told me I needed to have the transmission...
